Embroidery
Traditionally embroidery was done by the women in the home for their families. Later it became a source of income for families with women embroidering various items and selling them in the market. These days there are factories that make and sell these items. The Holy Land Handicraft Cooperative Society works with local women’s groups and many individual women who make these beautiful pieces of work from home in order to provide income for their families.
